July 14

Today I woke up with the realization that there are nine days left of Shad, and I’m completely astounded! The surrealism of this was the theme of conversation well into the morning, but Shad doesn’t let you muse in the melancholy for long. As New Brunswick goes hand in hand with rain here and there (but mostly here) morning fitness was yoga for some, and wrestling for others. Soon after we had part four of a continued business/marketing lecture by Monica Moran; this and our looming CT design project put everyone a bit on edge as it seems like there’s so much to do with so little time left.

After lunch, our group once again split off into two groups, one going to geomatics and the other to biomedical. The biomedical group learned about UNB’s advanced research into prosthetic limbs as well as rehabilitation with amputees.

Our time after that involved an hour and a half of CT time, much too little it seemed! Our multicultural night soon proceeded with everyone representing their countries. A very busy day indeed!
